AM PP: Week5

just continuing from the last week...

AM PP: Week4

Here's more developed version of the walk, and also the planning for the version with some acting before he start to walk.

AM PP: Week3

blocking for my walk cycle, from 3/4 and side view. This rig is the new one just uploaded at AM and he's just so awesome!

AM PP: Week2

When I went through my portfolio selection, I realized that there's not much walking or running animation which seems variable for applying games, so here is the planning for the simple character walk cycle. This'll be the last piece to add on my portfolio.

btw this is like talking to myself but just clarifying where I'm aiming for after finishing this course, for my friends who might wondering what I'm up to...Around the time when I started this course, I used to aim for TV/feature animation or advertisement and I wasn't interested in anything else. But I luckily had a chance to experience many of recent PC games(Skyrim, Cod BO, Borderlands2, Portal2, etc) since last year and I was totally impressed with how awesomely well made they are, and made me interested in working on games too. My final goal is still working on feature animation, but for now, my main focus is getting into game industry. I'm open to any animation jobs so I have no idea what I really get, but at least I know where I want to go.

Animation Mentor Polishing and Portfolio: Week1

It's finally the last term, time to polish things up for portfolio. Here's bunch
of shots I'm considering to put on my portfolio still haven't fixed anything
yet. Dialogue scenes obviously needs updates...I wonder how they get
better at the end of the term.

AM AA: Week9~12

seems like the weird problem with uploading video on blogger was fixed,
so catching up with AM stuff.  I'm still fixing this on the new term already
started but showing as the progress I went through...

AM AA: Week4

Here's 2nd blocking pass. Got more solid gestures and acting.

AM AA: Week3

here's a first blocking pass. Exploring acting choice....

Animation Mentor Advanced Acting: Week2

New termed was started from this month. The goal for this term is basically finish one dialogue animation for my portfolio.

I had some trouble choosing dialogues but at the end, I decided to choose something I really like. I've thought of variation in works but suck it, I love cute stuff! Put things you really like in portfolio so that you won't work for something you don't like....maybe little changed because of my poor English but Stephen Silver was saying something like that in his class, and I totally respect it!

anyway, this is the primary planning to check layout and camera work.

AM: ITA Week11

This is my final submission for this term, but I still get the last e-critique
so I'm still fixing this. My acting is not really great now but I guess I did
okay for the first dialogue animation for 3D.

Holiday is coming!!!!
